The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Ripley Tigers (Ripley, TN) and the host Munford Cougars (Munford, TN), saw Ripley's volleyball squad nip Munford by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Ripley upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Tigers host Haywood (Brownsville, TN) to play the Tomcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 17. The Tomcats go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Haywood won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Fayette Ware (Somerville, TN)

The Cougars now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Bartlett for a AAA District 15 bout on Tuesday, August 15.
