August 14, 2025: Cedartown, GA 30125 The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Allatoona Buccaneers (Acworth, GA) and the host Cedartown Bulldogs (Cedartown, GA), observed Allatoona's softball team get by Cedartown by a score of 6-5.
With the triumph, Allatoona improves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Buccaneers host Cartersville (Cartersville, GA) to face the Hurricanes in a 4A Region 7 contest on Monday, August 18. The Hurricanes enter the contest with a record of 7-0. Cartersville won 8-0 in their recent league bout against Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA)
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Cass Colonels (White, GA) in a 4A Region 7 bout, on Monday, August 18. Cedartown will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Colonels go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 10-0 league win over Hiram (Hiram, GA).
