Texas High School Volleyball - Anderson can't get by Rivera
August 14, 2025: Austin, TX 78759 Rivera Raiders (Brownsville, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Anderson Trojans (Austin, TX), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Rivera improves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Raiders travel to Stevens (San Antonio, TX) to meet the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 14. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Stevens lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Boerne (Boerne, TX)
Next, the Trojans meet the Copperas Cove Bulldawgs (Copperas Cove, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 15. Anderson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Bulldawgs go into the test with a 3-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Cedar Creek (Cedar Creek, TX).
