West Brook Bruins (Beaumont, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Buna Cougars (Buna, TX), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, West Brook improves its record to 2-3 on the season. The Bruins travel to Little Cypress-Mauriceville (Orange, TX) to face the Bears in a non-league test on Friday, August 15. The Bears go into the test with a record of 3-0. Little Cypress-Mauriceville won 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Anna (Anna, TX)
