With the win, Dime Box advances its record to 1-3 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Holland (Holland, TX) to play the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 14. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Holland lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Central Texas Christian (Temple, TX)
Next, the Bulldogs play the La Vega Pirates (Waco, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 19. Marlin will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Pirates go into the game with a 2-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Axtell (Axtell, TX).
