In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host V.R. Eaton Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Granbury Pirates.

With the win, V.R. Eaton improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Manvel (Manvel, TX) to face the Mavericks in a non-league test on Friday, August 15. The Mavericks go into the test with a record of 1-0. Manvel won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Clear Creek (League City, TX)
