August 14, 2025: Silsbee, TX 77656 Silsbee Tigers (Silsbee, TX) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the visiting Hudson Hornets (Lufkin, TX), 2-1 in a non-league outing.
The Tigers now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Onalaska for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 14. Silsbee will play a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Grapeland (Grapeland, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Hudson drops to 3-1 on the season. The Hornets travel to East Chambers (Winnie, TX) to confront the Buccaneers in a non-league game on Thursday, August 14.
