North Carolina High School Volleyball - Richmond Senior over Purnell Swett
August 14, 2025: Pembroke, NC 28372 In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Richmond Senior Raiders volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Purnell Swett Rams.
With the win, Richmond Senior advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Raiders travel to Lee County (Sanford, NC) to face the Yellow Jackets in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 19. The Yellow Jackets go into the test with a record of 2-0. Lee County won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Northwood (Pittsboro, NC)
The Rams now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Red Springs for a non-league outing on Monday, August 18. Purnell Swett will play a Red Devils team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC). The Red Devils record now stands at 0-2.
