Riverdale Ridge Ravens (Thornton, CO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Severance Silver Knights (Severance, CO), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Ravens now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northridge for a 4A Longs Peak challenge on Thursday, August 17. Riverdale Ridge will face a Grizzlies squad coming off a 16-4 league win over Mountain View (Loveland, CO). The Grizzlies record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Severance falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Silver knights host Roosevelt (Johnstown, CO) to face the Roughriders in a 4A Longs Peak challenge on Thursday, August 17. The Roughriders enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
