August 15, 2023: Chester, TX 75936 The Chester Yellowjackets topped the visiting Newton Eagles volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Yellowjackets now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Porter for a non-league test on Thursday, August 17. Chester will confront a Spartans team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over New Caney (New Caney, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 2-4.
The Eagles (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Spurger (Spurger, TX). The Pirates enter the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
