Timpview Thunderbirds (Provo, UT) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Skyridge Falcons (Lehi, UT), 33-29 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Timpview advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Thunderbirds host Lone Peak (Highland, UT) to encounter the Knights in a non-league battle on Friday, August 23. The Knights go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Lone Peak won 21-0 in their recent non-league battle against Bingham (South Jordan, UT)

The Falcons now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Liberty for a non-league battle on Friday, August 23.
