In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host South Rowan Raiders volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the A.L. Brown Wonders.

The Raiders (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Concord (Concord, NC). The Spiders come into the South Piedmont 3A challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Concord beat Central Academy (Monroe, NC), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wonders play the North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 19. A.L. Brown will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Central Davidson (Lexington, NC).
