In Wednesday's non-league match, the Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) volleyball squad overcame the host A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Tigers battle the Gray Stone Day Knights (Misenheimer, NC) in a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A match, on Tuesday, September 3. Mount Pleasant will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 4-3 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to East Rowan (Salisbury, NC).
