North Carolina High School Volleyball - New Hanover can't hold off New Bern

In Thursday's non-league match, the New Bern Bears (New Bern, NC) volleyball squad tipped the host New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC), by a count of 3-2.

Next up, the Bears battle the Croatan Cougars (Newport, NC) in a non-league match, on Monday, August 19. New Bern will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 2-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over East Carteret (Beaufort, NC).
