Iowa Colony Pioneers (Iowa Colony, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host MacArthur Generals (Houston, TX), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Iowa Colony improves its record to 3-4 on the season. The Pioneers travel to McKinney (McKinney, TX) to face the Lions in a non-league test on Friday, August 15. The Lions go into the test with a record of 0-3. McKinney lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Reagan (San Antonio, TX)

The Generals now own a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Summer Creek for a non-league test on Friday, August 15. MacArthur will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Oak Ridge (Conroe, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
