Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the McKinney North Bulldogs (McKinney, TX) and the host Lake Travis Cavaliers (Austin, TX), saw McKinney North's volleyball squad nudge Lake Travis by a score of 2-1.

With the win, McKinney North improves its record to 6-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Friendswood (Friendswood, TX) to encounter the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 16. The Mustangs go into the battle with a record of 5-0. Friendswood won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Clemens (Schertz, TX)

The Cavaliers now own a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Johnson for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 19. Lake Travis will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Melissa (Melissa, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-1.
