In Friday's non-league match, the Pioneer Diamondbacks (Mission, TX) volleyball squad overcame the host MacArthur Brahmas (San Antonio, TX), by a count of 2-0.

Coming up next, the Diamondbacks clash with the Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial Eagles (Corpus Christi, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, August 16. Pioneer will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to London (Corpus Christi, TX).
