Alaska High School Football - Colony overwhelmed by West Anchorage

In Friday's league game, the West Anchorage Eagles (Anchorage, AK) football team triumphed over the host Colony Knights (Palmer, AK), by a tally of 33-0.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds (Anchorage, AK) in a Cook Inlet game, on Friday, August 23. West Anchorage will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Thunderbirds enter the game with a 1-0 record after their 22-6 league win over Juneau-Douglas (Juneau, AK).
