Texas High School Volleyball - Wellman-Union can't get by Abernathy
August 16, 2025: Abernathy, TX 79311 The Abernathy Antelopes edged the visiting Wellman-Union Wildcats volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Antelopes confront the Estacado Matadors (Lubbock, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 16. Abernathy will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Matadors go into the game with a 1-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Brownfield (Brownfield, TX).
The Wildcats (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Tahoka (Tahoka, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, Tahoka was edged by Estacado (Lubbock, TX), 2-1, in a non-league game.
