Texas High School Volleyball - Abernathy winner over Borden County
September 16, 2025: Abernathy, TX 79311 Abernathy Antelopes (Abernathy, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Borden County Coyotes (Gail, TX), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Abernathy improves its record to 5-6 on the season. The Antelopes travel to Plains (Plains, TX) to face the Cowboys in a 2A Region I District 2 test on Saturday, September 20. The Cowboys go into the test with a record of 16-9. Plains won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Wellman-Union (Wellman, TX)
The Coyotes now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Wilson for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 20.
