The Belmont Cardinals volleyball squad (Belmont, MS), was defeated 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Kossuth Aggies (Kossuth, MS)

The Aggies (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Walnut (Walnut, MS). The Wildcats enter the non-league challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, Walnut beat Ingomar (New Albany, MS), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cardinals face the Ripley Tigers (Ripley, MS) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, August 19. Belmont will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 3-2 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Kossuth (Kossuth, MS).
