The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Dominion Christian Knights (Marietta, GA) and the visiting Valwood Valiants (Valdosta, GA), saw Dominion Christian's volleyball squad nudge Valwood by a score of 2-1.

With the win, Dominion Christian improves its record to 8-4 on the season. The Knights host Heritage (Newnan, GA) to encounter the Hawks in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 16. The Hawks go into the battle with a record of 2-4. Heritage lost 3-1 in their recent non-league battle against Calvary Christian (Columbus, GA)

The Valiants now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mount de Sales Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, August 19. Valwood will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Crawford County (Roberta, GA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 4-1.
