Indiana High School Volleyball - Richmond crushed by Winchester Community
August 17, 2022: Winchester, IN 47394 The Winchester Community Golden Falcons topped the visiting Richmond Red Devils volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Golden Falcons now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Adams for a non-league test on Thursday, August 18. Winchester Community will confront a Starfires team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Blackford (Hartford City, IN). The Starfires record now stands at 1-0.
The Red Devils (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Pike (Indianapolis, IN). The Red Devils enter the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Pike was dropped by Zionsville (Zionsville, IN), 3-1, in a non-league game.
Match Summary
The Lady Falcons were in action at the Fieldhouse Wednesday evening taking on the Lady Red Devils of Richmond. The theme for the evening was Tie Dye. The Lady Falcons came out and beat the Lady Red Devils 3-0 to improve their season record to 2-0. The scores were as follow:
25-14, 25-10, and 25-18. The Lady Falcons served the ball extremely well; played good defense; and generated great chemistry on the court. The Lady Falcons will be in action Thursday, August 18th at South Adams in Berne, IN. The JV match starts at 6:00 pm
