The Berry Cardinal (Charlotte, NC) football defeated the host East Mecklenburg Eagles (Charlotte, NC), 12-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Cardinal face the Chambers Cougars (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, August 24. Berry will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.

The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Palisades (Charlotte, NC). The Pumas enter the non-league bout with a 1-0 record.
