The Berry Cardinal football team (Charlotte, NC), was knocked off 25-14 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC)

The Pumas (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Myers Park (Charlotte, NC). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Myers Park was knocked off by Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC), 10-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Cardinal now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Mecklenburg for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 21. Berry will meet a Sabres team coming off a 21-6 non-league win over Olympic (Charlotte, NC). The Sabres record now stands at 4-1.
