North Carolina High School Volleyball - Cornerstone Charter over Bethany

Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Bethany Wolves (Summerfield, NC), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Leadership Academy Falcons (Kernersville, NC) in a Northwest Piedmont 1A match, on Tuesday, August 22. Cornerstone Charter will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record. The Falcons come into the match with a 3-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC).

With the loss, Bethany drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Wolves host Piedmont Classical (Browns Summit, NC) to clash with the Bobcats in a Northwest Piedmont 1A match on Tuesday, August 22. The Bobcats come into the match with a record of 1-1. Piedmont Classical won 3-2 in their recent league match against College Prep & Leadership Academy (Jamestown, NC)
