August 17, 2023: Cumby, TX 75433 The Miller Grove Hornets volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Savoy Cardinals to 0 in the Hornets non-league victory on Thursday.
The Hornets now possess a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Leonard for a non-league game on Thursday, August 17. Miller Grove will meet a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Ford (Quinlan, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 1-4.
The Cardinals (3-7) will now prepare for their game against Chisum (Paris, TX). The Mustangs enter the non-league game with a 7-1 record. In their last game, Chisum defeated Hooks (Hooks, TX), 3-2, in a non-league game.
