August 17, 2024: Minot, ND 58701 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Red River Roughriders (Grand Forks, ND) and the host Minot Magicians (Minot, ND), saw Red River's soccer squad triumph over Minot by a count of 9-0.
The Roughriders (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Fargo North (Fargo, ND). The Spartans enter the East Region battle with a 0-0 record.
Next up, the Magicians confront the Williston Coyotes (Williston, ND) in a West Region battle, on Tuesday, August 20. Minot will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Coyotes enter the battle with a 0-0 record after their 3-3 league Legacy (Bismarck, ND).
