Mississippi High School Volleyball - Poplarville tips Harrison Central
August 17, 2024: Gulfport, MS 39503 In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Poplarville Hornets volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Harrison Central Red Rebels.
The Hornets (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Pearl River Central (Carriere, MS). The Blue Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Pearl River Central was nudged by Poplarville (Poplarville, MS), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Red Rebels meet the Gulfport Admirals (Gulfport, MS) in a Class 7A Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, August 20. Harrison Central will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record. The Admirals come into the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Hancock (Kiln, MS).
