August 18, 2025: China Grove, NC 28023 Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Carson advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to North Stanly (New London, NC) to play the Comets in a non-league outing on Wednesday, August 20. The Comets come into the outing with a record of 1-1. North Stanly lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against East Rowan (Salisbury, NC)
With the loss, Mount Pleasant drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to South Rowan (China Grove, NC) to play the Raiders in a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 19. The Raiders come into the outing with a record of 4-0. South Rowan won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against West Cabarrus (Concord, NC)
