The Griffins (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Pasquotank County by Albemarle School (Elizabeth City, NC), 5-2, in a non-league test.
The Red Barons now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bear Grass Charter for a non-league test on Thursday, August 21. Gates County will clash with a Bears team coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Holmes (Edenton, NC). The Bears record now stands at 1-1.
