With the win, Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy improves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Gryphons host Carolina International (Concord, NC) to encounter the Comets in a Catawba River 1A/2A/3A battle on Thursday, August 21. The Comets go into the battle with a record of 1-2. Carolina International lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against NCSSM: Morganton (Morganton, NC)
The Crusaders now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy for a CAASC Blue Ridge contest on Tuesday, August 19.
