August 18, 2025: Church Hill, TN 37642 Dobyns-Bennett Indians (Kingsport, TN) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Volunteer Falcons (Church Hill, TN), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Dobyns-Bennett upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Science Hill (Johnson City, TN) to play the Hilltoppers in a AAA District 1 outing on Thursday, August 21. The Hilltoppers come into the outing with a record of 2-0. Science Hill won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Elizabethton (Elizabethton, TN)
With the loss, Volunteer falls to 1-1 on the year. The Falcons travel to Morristown-Hamblen West (Morristown, TN) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 19. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 0-0.
