In Monday's non-league test, the visiting Victory Christian Center Kings volleyball squad scored a 3-1 win over the Monroe Redhawks.

With the win, Victory Christian Center improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Kings travel to Gaston Christian (Gastonia, NC) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 19. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 4-3. Gaston Christian lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Greensboro Day School (Greensboro, NC)

The Redhawks now sport a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Parkwood for a Rocky River 4A/5A test on Tuesday, August 19. Monroe will face a Wolf Pack squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over South Stanly (Norwood, NC). The Wolf Pack record now stands at 3-1.
