August 19, 2022: Gretna, NE 68028 Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Gretna Dragons (Gretna, NE) and the visiting Elkhorn Antlers (Elkhorn, NE), witnessed Gretna's softball squad tip Elkhorn by a count of 10-5.
The Dragons now sport a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln East for a non-league match on Saturday, August 20. Gretna will face a Spartans squad coming off a 8-4 league win over Papillion-LaVista South (Papillion, NE). The Spartans record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Elkhorn moves to 0-2 on the season. The Antlers travel to Bellevue East (Bellevue, NE) to face the Chieftains in a non-league match on Saturday, August 20. The Chieftains go into the match with a record of 0-3. Bellevue East lost 8-1 in their recent non-league match against Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE)
