August 27, 2022: North Platte, NE 69101 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Gretna Dragons (Gretna, NE) softball team overwhelmed the host North Platte Bulldogs (North Platte, NE), by a margin of 9-0.
With the triumph, Gretna moves its record to 10-0 on the year. The Dragons travel to Columbus (Columbus, NE) to play the Discoverers in a non-league contest on Saturday, August 27. The Discoverers come into the contest with a record of 2-3. Columbus lost 6-5 in their recent league contest against Omaha Westside (Omaha, NE)
In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Grand Island Central Catholic Crusaders (Grand Island, NE) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 30. North Platte will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Crusaders come into the contest with a 6-3 record after their 10-5 non-league loss to Seward (Seward, NE).
