August 19, 2022: Navasota, TX 77868 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Navasota Rattlers (Navasota, TX) and the visiting Nimitz Vikings (Irving, TX), saw Navasota's volleyball squad beat Nimitz by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Navasota upgrades its record to 11-3 on the year. The Rattlers travel to Little Elm (Little Elm, TX) to play the Lobos in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 20. The Lobos go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Little Elm lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Melissa (Melissa, TX)
The Vikings now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they travel to Van Alstyne for a non-league bout on Friday, August 19. Nimitz will play a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Paris (Paris, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 7-4.
