Georgia High School Softball - Sonoraville bounces Walton
August 19, 2023: Marietta, GA 30062 The Sonoraville Phoenix routed the host Walton Raiders softball squad by a final score of 5-0 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Phoenix (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Cartersville (Cartersville, GA). The Hurricanes go into the non-league battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Cartersville nudged Dalton (Dalton, GA), 9-1, in a league battle.
The Raiders now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Calhoun for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 19. Walton will confront a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 14-4 league win over Cass (White, GA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 4-0.
