Georgia High School Softball - Sonoraville bounces Woodstock
August 19, 2023: Woodstock, GA 30189 Sonoraville Phoenix (Calhoun, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Woodstock Wolverines (Woodstock, GA), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Phoenix now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Walton for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 19. Sonoraville will face a Raiders squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Pickens (Jasper, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 6-2.
With the loss, Woodstock falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Centennial (Roswell, GA) to face the Knights in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 19. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 2-5. Centennial lost 15-5 in their recent non-league challenge against West Forsyth (Cumming, GA)
