The Lions now have a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Itasca for a non-league test on Saturday, August 19. Blooming Grove will confront a Wampus Cats team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Hillsboro (Hillsboro, TX). The Wampus Cats record now stands at 6-7.
The Bulldogs (1-13) will now prepare for their test against Itasca (Itasca, TX). The Wampus Cats enter the non-league test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, Itasca was knocked off by Hillsboro (Hillsboro, TX), 3-1, in a non-league test.
