California High School Volleyball - El Modena edged by Kennedy
August 19, 2023: La Palma, CA 90623 The Kennedy Fighting Irish volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting El Modena Vanguards to 1 in the Fighting Irish non-league victory on Saturday.
The Fighting Irish now have a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Saugus for a non-league game on Saturday, August 19. Kennedy will meet a Centurions team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Highland (Palmdale, CA). The Centurions record now stands at 2-0.
The Vanguards (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Troy (Fullerton, CA). The Warriors enter the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Troy was nudged by Northwood (Irvine, CA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
