August 19, 2023: Sugar Land, TX 77479 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Ellison Eagles (Killeen, TX) and the host Fort Bend Clements Rangers (Sugar Land, TX), saw Ellison's volleyball squad nip Fort Bend Clements by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Ellison upgrades its record to 10-6 on the year. The Eagles travel to Aubrey (Aubrey, TX) to play the Chaparrals in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 19. The Chaparrals go into the bout with a record of 14-2. Aubrey won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Lubbock-Cooper (Lubbock, TX)
The Rangers now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Foster for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 22. Fort Bend Clements will play a Falcons squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Dobie (Houston, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 12-2.
