The Neuse Charter Cougars volleyball squad (Smithfield, NC), was defeated 2-0 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Roxboro Community Bulldogs (Roxboro, NC)

With the win, Roxboro Community improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Research Triangle (Research Triangle Park, NC) to encounter the Raptors in a battle on Thursday, August 21. The Raptors enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Research Triangle lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Franklin Academy (Wake Forest, NC)
