Georgia High School Softball - Mt. Zion gets by North Clayton
August 19, 2025: Jonesboro, GA 30236 The crowd at Tuesday's league contest between the Mt. Zion Bulldogs (Jonesboro, GA) and the visiting North Clayton Eagles (College Park, GA), saw Mt. Zion's softball squad nip North Clayton by a score of 1-0.
With the triumph, Mt. Zion improves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Stone Mountain (Stone Mountain, GA) to face the Pirates in a 3A Region 5 contest on Thursday, August 21. The Pirates enter the contest with a record of 0-0.
The Eagles now hold a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Douglass for a 3A Region 5 bout on Thursday, August 28.
