The Wilson Wildcats volleyball squad (Dallas, TX), was edged 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Independence Knights (Frisco, TX)

The Knights (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Panther Creek (Frisco, TX). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Panther Creek was tipped by Liberty (Frisco, TX), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Wildcats encounter the Midway Panthers (Waco, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, August 22. Wilson will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Panthers go into the battle with a 9-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Horn (Mesquite, TX).
