In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Washburn Pirates volleyball team scored a 3-0 win over the Union County Patriots.

With the win, Washburn advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Pirates travel to Cherokee (Rogersville, TN) to face the Chiefs in a non-league test on Thursday, August 21.
