Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Brandon Bulldogs (Brandon, MS) and the visiting Ocean Springs Greyhounds (Ocean Springs, MS), observed Brandon's volleyball team hold off Ocean Springs by a count of 2-1.

The Bulldogs (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Germantown (Madison, MS). The Mavericks enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Germantown got by George County (Lucedale, MS), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Greyhounds battle the Madison-Ridgeland Academy Patriots (Madison, MS) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 5. Ocean Springs will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record.
