In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Vista Ridge Rangers volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Cedar Park Timberwolves.

The Rangers (14-5) will now prepare for their battle against Clark (San Antonio, TX). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 12-3 record. In their last battle, Clark was edged by Incarnate Word (San Antonio, TX), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Timberwolves encounter the McAllen Memorial Mustangs (McAllen, TX) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 20. Cedar Park will attempt to move on its 8-10 season record. The Mustangs enter the test with a 12-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Clear Creek (League City, TX).
