August 20, 2024: Clarksdale, MS 38614 Clarksdale Wildcats (Clarksdale, MS) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Charleston Tigers (Charleston, MS), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Clarksdale advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Cleveland Central (Cleveland, MS) to face the Wolves in a Class 5A Region 2 test on Thursday, August 22. The Wolves go into the test with a record of 1-3. Cleveland Central lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Greenwood (Greenwood, MS)
The Tigers now sport a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Panola for a non-league test on Monday, August 26. Charleston will face a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Kossuth (Kossuth, MS). The Cougars record now stands at 4-2.
