The Research Triangle Raptors volleyball squad (Research Triangle Park, NC), dropped 3-0 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Franklin Academy Patriots (Wake Forest, NC)

With the win, Franklin Academy improves its record to 1-4 on the season. The Patriots host East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 26. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 0-1.

The Raptors now own a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Roxboro Community for a contest on Thursday, August 21. Research Triangle will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 league win over Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.
